Hello! Sunrise Illustration is the work of me, Kate Polley, an artist and illustrator based in Scotland. This year I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, having studied illustration, and I am also a member of the Association of Illustrators.
My favourite things are drawing, music, kites, nature, and anything that’ll make me laugh.
I’ll try and update this site with new work as often as I can!

Should you amend the comment about making the girl cry with your drawing of a dog? Did she cry because it made her sad, or was it so life-like she thought it was real, and therefore feared for her life? – Jason Crowe

Have only just seen this. Hello sneaky. I’ve taken it out, but she was crying with joy. She missed her dog, and I did a very nice watercolour.
